Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 4, 2026

Alreadily is a small meal-planning app run by TODO: Your Name for family and friends. This policy explains, in plain language, what information the app holds and what happens to it. Questions? Email TODO: support@example.com.

What the app stores

Your account. When you sign in, the app stores your email address. Sign-in works by emailing you a one-time link (a “magic link”) — there is no password.

What you put into the app. Everything you create is stored so the app can work: the household members you add (including names, portion sizes, and any dietary exclusions you record), the components and recipes you enter, your weekly templates and plans, grocery lists, and any notes or cooking logs. Some of this may include information about other people in your household — including children — that you choose to enter for meal-planning purposes. Only enter what you’re comfortable storing.

How it’s used

Your data is used only to make the app work for you and the people in your household. It is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to market to you.

Who can see your data

Your household’s data is private to your household. If you invite someone into your household, they can see and edit everything in it — that’s the point of sharing. People in other households cannot see your data, and you cannot see theirs.

Services the app relies on

The app is built on a few third-party services that store or process data on its behalf:

  • Supabase — hosts the database and handles sign-in.
  • Vercel — hosts the app.
  • Resend — delivers the sign-in emails.
  • Anthropic only if you use an AI feature (for example, importing a recipe from a link). When you do, the recipe text or page content is sent to Anthropic’s API to turn it into a structured component. If you never use those features, nothing is sent to Anthropic, and AI features can be turned off entirely.

Each of these services has its own privacy practices.

Keeping data, and deleting it

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. To delete your account and its data, email TODO: support@example.com and it will be removed. (A self-serve “delete my account” button is planned.)

Security

The app uses per-household access controls so that households are isolated from one another. That said, this is a small personal project, not an enterprise product — please don’t store anything highly sensitive in it.

Children

The app is not directed at children, and children should not create accounts. An adult may enter a child’s name, portion size, or food restrictions as part of planning meals; that information is treated the same as any other data in your household and is used only for planning.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above will change too. For anything significant, you’ll be told directly.
